For the last seven years, TNCP has been the “umbrella” that used to gather several poetry-related events which take place in Bucharest every year in May: the National Poetry Book Fair (TNCP), the International Poetry Festival (FIPB) and the Poetry and Jazz Marathon. This year, though, TNCP was re-branded and the literary events that will take place these days (18-22 May 2016) will develop under the generic name of FIPB (Bucharest International Poetry Festival). More than 100 poets coming from 20 countries will participate in the festival, so, if you happen to be in Bucharest these days, be sure you won’t miss these events 🙂 You will find them all here: fipb.ro (unfortunately, the English version does not work for the moment, but let’s hope the problem will be solved soon).
Anul acesta TNCP-ul a fost “rebrenduit” – sau mai bine zis scos (?!) din lista manifestărilor literare anuale organizate de Muzeul Literaturii (MNLR) în preajma Nopţii Albe a Muzeelor, ce cuprindeau: Târgul Naţional al Cărţii de Poezie (TNCP), Festivalul Internaţional de Poezie Bucureşti (FIPB) şi Maratonul de Poezie şi Jazz. De şapte ani încoace, în lumea literară toate aceste evenimente sunt tradiţional reunite sub denumirea generică “TNCP”. Probabil că asta se va întâmpla în continuare ceva vreme de acum înainte: participanţii vor merge “la TNCP”, îşi vor invita prietenii “la TNCP”, vor citi poezie “la TNCP”, se vor întâlni “la TNCP”.
